Energy Solutions LLC was founded in 2014 with the participation of foreign investor JVI Vastgoed Investments V BV (Netherlands);

The main directions of Energy Solutions in hydropower activities are project development and consulting services:

Project development includes identifying projects in the initial stages, conducting due diligence, performing due diligence, obtaining funding and managing the day-to-day management of the project to achieve a successful outcome;

Consulting services include full technical, financial and legal support, including the definition of new projects and optimization of existing hydropower projects;

Energy Solutions has created the most solid, reliable management and consulting group in the hydropower business of Georgia and has implemented more than 20 projects.

Giorgi Abramishvili

Managing Director

Mr. Abramishvili spent his career on leading managing positions in various business fields. Giorgi’s extensive career of over 25 years includes working in the private sector (including energy). Under his leadership, various scale energy projects were implemented (450MW HPP Namakhvani, 230 TPP Gardabani, 18 MW HPP Lakhami, 250KW HPP). All projects were supported by international investors and financial institutions, according to the best international practise.

Furthermore, Mr. Abramishvili held leading positions in several energy organisations like Georgian Energy Development Fund and Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association.

Prior to joining in energy sector, Giorgi had extensive experience in real estate development, agriculture, education and publishing (Dutch House, German Corporation for International Cooperation - G.I.Z, Siesta Publishing House).

Mr. Giorgi Abramishvili graduated from the University of Saarland. Furthermore, he studied Global Energy Management at the University of Colorado

Archil Dzneladze

Technical Managing Director

Mr. Archil Dzneladze has extensive experience in energy sector in the fields of technical project design, facility operation and general due diligence.

Having a working experience at management positions in fields of hydro, thermal and solar power generations, at different stages of his career, he performed various contracts with international and local companies such as EDF, Stucky, Colenko, Electrowat, UkrHydro, Tesla (Georgia), Enguri HPP.

Archil has led number of project design and construction works of hydropower stations, transmission lines and substations in Georgia, eastern Europe and CIS countries (Enguri HPP, Khudoni HPP, Lakhami HPP cascade, Aragvi HPP cascade, Ukraine HPPs, Gardabani Thermal, 500/330/220 KV OHTL in Georgia).

Being a management team member on various due diligence projects, Archil Dzneladze cooperated with Posch & Partners Consulting Engineers, KfW, EBRD, World Bank, PA Government Services Inc./Winrock International and others. Currently Mr. Dzneladze is managing operating plants such as Lakhami 1 and 2 and Aragvi 1 and 2

Merab Lominadze

Managing financial Director

Mr. Merab Lominadze is a international business professional with more than 20 years of experience in diverse multicultural business markets and public sector. His intensive experience includes working on managing positions in private and public sectors. Merab held top management positions at Namakhvani HPP (430 MW HPP), Georgian Manganese Group (largest metal company and second hydropower plant in Geo), Georgian Water and Power (largest utility and second largest HPP with dam in Geo), Madneuli (gold mining company).

His public sector career includes working at Ministry of Economy and heading National Investment Agency as well as representing foreign diplomatic mission in Georgia. Mr. Lominadze owns a Ph.D degree in Economic Science, Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA), Degree in International Business Law

Eka Kikadze

Legal Director

Eka Kikadze joined Energy Solutions as a CLO in 2019.

Since then, Eka Kikadze has worked at "Austrian Georgian Development", a construction development company that has planned two 16 M.W. capacity hydroelectric stations: Lakhami 1 and Lakhami 2.

Eka Kikadze also works at "Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association" and at Trading Solutions a lawyer.

From 2011 to 2019, Eka worked at "Dariali Energy". Her duties included leading and supervising legal operations. She led the environmental protection and social departments at the same organisation from 2013 to 2019. In this period "Dariali Energy" earned a silver reward for ecological conservation and social practices from "European Bank for Reconstruction and Development" (EBRD Sustainability Award 2017).

From 2017 to 2019, Eka provided legal counselling for "Oni cascade".

Eka Kikadze has ten years of experience practising law in hydropower projects.

In 2008 she obtained a jurisprudence diploma at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and, in 2011, a master's degree in civil law at Caucasus University. Additionally, Eka successfully graduated from Harvard's certified online course: Contact Law.

Meanwhile, she has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2013.
